Founded in 2007, EcoVadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings, creating a global network of more than 100,000+ rated companies, in 175+ countries and 200+ industries. Their mission is to provide reliable, globally recognized sustainability ratings and insights, enabling all companies to reduce risk, drive improvement and accelerate positive impact on the planet and society. Their sustainability ratings platform assesses and rates companies and their suppliers. Ecovadis evaluates organizations based on various reporting standards and frameworks, including GRI, UNGC, and ISO 26000. The assessment covers seven management indicators, across 21 sustainability criteria, in four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The ratings are based on an assessment questionnaire tailored to industry, country, & size. The digital platform permits companies in network to assess, monitor and benchmark sustainability performance of their supply chain (upstream & downstream) across industries. The platform allows for collaboration with supply chain to drive outcomes.
